1. Defective or Incorrect Products
Amped Tribe will cover return shipping costs and provide a refund, replacement, or exchange where a product:
- Is defective upon delivery; or
- Materially differs from the product description or images displayed on our website.
Claims relating to defective or incorrect products must be reported within 2 days of delivery.
Claims submitted outside this period may not qualify for reimbursement of return shipping costs.
2. Returns and Exchanges
Customers may request a return or exchange within 14 days of delivery.

Products must:
- Be unworn and unused.
- Be in original condition.
- Be free from damage, stains, odours, or alterations.
- Include original tags, labels, and packaging.
Amped Tribe reserves the right to reject returns that do not meet these requirements.
3. Exchange Products
Where a customer exchanges an item for a different product:
- Ambassador discounts will not automatically apply.
- Promotional discounts will not automatically apply.
- First-time buyer discounts will not automatically apply.
- The replacement item will be charged at the current listed selling price.
4. Store Credit
If the replacement item is of a lower value than the original purchase:
- The difference will be issued as Amped Tribe Store Credit.
- Store Credit is redeemable only on the Amped Tribe online store.
- Store Credit is not redeemable for cash.
If the replacement item exceeds the value of the original purchase, the customer must pay the difference before dispatch.
5. Refunds
Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days after the returned item has been received and inspected.
Refunds will be made to the original payment method wherever possible.
For EFT purchases, customers may be required to provide:
- Proof of banking details
- Certified ID document or proof of identity
This is required to verify ownership of the receiving bank account.
Amped Tribe does not issue cash refunds.
6. Sale and Promotional Items
Products purchased during a sale, promotion, clearance event, or with a discount code may not qualify for a cash refund unless:
- The item is defective;
- The item was incorrectly supplied; or
- A refund is required under South African consumer protection legislation.
Where appropriate, Amped Tribe may issue a store credit or exchange instead of a cash refund.
7. Inspection Upon Delivery
Customers should inspect products immediately upon delivery.
Any defects, shortages, damage, or incorrect products should be reported as soon as possible.
Failure to report issues within a reasonable period may affect eligibility for a refund, replacement, or exchange.
8. Consumer Protection Act
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any rights afforded to consumers under the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA).
